Job Description

As a Buyer, you will be responsible for strategically managing our organisation's procurement activities related to indirect goods and services linked to Travel (Hotel & Car Rental) and Fleet Management (Company cars). Moreover, you'll do some tactical activities, like supplier creation and purchase orders.  

Main responsibilities: 

  • Improve processes: Streamline procurement tasks like requisitions and invoicing for better efficiency and compliance.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and suppliers: Align with internal stakeholders and vendors within the Travel & Fleet category to achieve optimisation.
  • Manage contracts & compliance: Oversee contracts and ensure adherence to policies and regulations to be renewed on time if necessary.
  • Analyse data & markets: Use data and market insights to track performance and find savings opportunities.
  • Source strategically: Select and negotiate within Travel & Fleet providers in line with procurement strategy.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Procurement, Travel Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in Travel and or Fleet Management negotiations, preferably within an FMCG or Industrial sector.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills and excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • High ethical standards and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations
  • Experience with procurement tools, ERP, P2P and Microsoft 365 applications
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken. International mindset.
