Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Siemens PCS7 Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Siemens PCS7 Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, configuration, and troubleshooting of Siemens PCS7 Distributed Control Systems (DCS) in industrial environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, configure, and implement Siemens PCS7 control systems for industrial applications.
• Provide support for the integration of PCS7 with other systems, including SCADA, PLC, and HMI systems.
• Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance to ensure the optimal performance of PCS7 systems.
• Collaborate with project teams to define system requirements and specifications.
• Conduct system diagnostics, resolve technical issues, and ensure system reliability.
• Prepare technical documentation, including user manuals and system diagrams.
• Provide training and technical support to clients and end-users.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
• Work closely with clients to understand their needs and deliver solutions that meet their operational goals.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Proven experience working with Siemens PCS7 systems, including hardware and software configuration.
• Strong knowledge of automation systems, control systems, and industrial networks.
• Experience with system integration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of DCS systems.
• Familiarity with PLC programming (Siemens S7) and SCADA/HMI systems.
• Experience with DCS Emerson Ovation, Valmet DNA or ABB Melody is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documentation.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Control Systems, or a related field.
• Experience in the power plant, oil & gas, chemical, or manufacturing industries is a plus.

Desirable Skills:

• Certifications related to Siemens PCS7 or automation systems.
• Experience with network configuration, including Profinet, Ethernet/IP, and other industrial communication protocols.
• Familiarity with safety systems such as SIL (Safety Integrity Level) and functional safety.
