Do you want to use your skills and join us brining Northvolt to Germany? We’re looking for a driven Talent Acquisition Sourcer/Specialist. By joining us, you will be at the forefront of building a new company from scratch, growing Northvolts footprint in Germany and contribute to building one of the largest European battery factories. Our team is currently based in Hamburg with an outreach to our planned gigafactory in Heide, Schleswig-Holstein. As a member of our team, you will play an important role in identifying and engaging with top talent to support the growth of the entire organization. By joining Northvolt’s talent acquisition team you will be responsible for recruiting Northvolt’s most important asset– its people.

About the job To thrive as recruiter at Northvolt you should possess a natural gift for discovering talent, make complicated roles easy to grasp, spot unspoken needs and discover unseen possibilities. You will be responsible for finding and attracting candidates for a wide range of roles, to support the process of scaling Northvolt Germany from it's current start-up phase to large-scale operations.

Your job is to find the best candidates on the market through headhunting and incoming applications, you are the one who will find out what to search for, where to search and what to say to get the right type of person interested in Northvolt. You have the skills and experience to quickly adapt your sourcing strategies to find candidates with various backgrounds from different industries.

When you found the right person, you want to ensure you guide them through the hiring process and that everyone gets a great candidate experience. You most likely have a competitive mind and feel proud when "your" candidate finally signs an employment agreement with Northvolt.

Your Responsibilities include but is not limited to:

  • Be responsible for a full-cycle of recruitment within one or multiple areas in the organization – taking full responsibility for the entire process from managing our hiring stakeholders to identifying talents through sourcing and guiding them through the entire hiring process.
  • Ensure that the candidates involved in the recruitment process are being assessed fairly in a quality-driven way.
  • Advise the business units for which you are responsible on the best ways to evaluate and attract talents to ensure a smooth and proactive process for all parties involved.
  • Collaborate and share knowledge with your colleagues on how to drive improvements to scale our recruitment processes.
  • Engage in Employer Branding initiatives

Skills & Requirements

We believe that you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business or similar
  • Some year of experience working with search and headhunting, either in agency or in-house in a high-volume and vibrant environment
  • Excellent English written and oral skills, German is a major plus
  • Experience working with the global market in a multicultural environment
  • Most importantly, you are a team player that enjoys working in a fast pace, ever changing environment and want to have fun while contributing to the electrification of Europe!
  • Eager to teach and learn from other colleagues – seeking advice from colleagues and offering a hand when you see that one is in need
  • Strong interpersonal and consultative skills, and strive to collaborate with your colleagues to promote a friendly, fun and quality-focused working environment

Northvolt makes green batteries for a blue planet. Affordable cells and high-quality battery systems. All manufactured with a record-low carbon footprint. Purposely built to provide Europe with the opportunity to switch to renewable energy – efficiently and entirely.
