How to contribute to our vision

Are you a dedicated and driven individual, who is willing to work in Maintenance?

We are looking for a Mould & Mandrel Maintenance Support to join us in Hull Blade Factory. You would be responsible for updating/building/transporting/repairing Mandrels.

You will also be trained across mould maintenance, repair and setup. Supporting the service teams to ensure a high quality of mould finish to increase quality of blade. Should there be downtime or limited works then you will be an additional maintenance resource to assist the on-shift teams.

Some of your key tasks will include but not be limited to:

  • Assisting project team/engineering for factory/equipment changeout for future blade projects (Mandrel manufacture, mould installation

  • Assisting Zurich inspectors to ensure mandatory inspections on lifting beams and regular in-house maintenance is carried out to reduce/eliminate employee injury and lost time due to improper functioning equipment

  • Checking and monitoring equipment constantly ensuring very high levels of attention to detail.

  • This role involves lots of standing, walking and some manual lifting always whilst paying close attention to the health and safety of yourself and those around you.

  • Roles in the plant are safety critical and random drug and alcohol tests will be carried out. Failing this test could result in dismissal.

  • You will be working as part of a close team, and you’ll need to build excellent relationships within team.

  • You must be able to follow instructions exactly as you are directed and not take short cuts or implement process improvements without following the correct procedure.

  • Focus on health and safety is essential

  • Experience in working in Industry is desired but not essential as full training will be given

  • Basic understanding and use of hand tools

  • Proactiveness, Safety consciousness, self-driven attitude with a sharp eye for detail

  • Ability to work both independently and in teams
