We need to not just think about our future, but build for it. Now. We're looking for a highly motivated individual, as an Accounts Payable Manager to join our fast paced and growing Finance team. You will be managing a team of accounts payable specialists and overseeing the processing of invoices, payments and working on the internal accounts payable processes and controls. You will also be dealing with internal and external customers and managing relationships across the business.Reporting into our Finance Manager you will be part of a fun and exciting team, whilewe support your growth and career progression too!

What you'll do

Review the processing of invoices and employee expensesReview payments in a timely mannerRespond to, and action any stakeholder queriesOversee AP invoice inbox and finance help deskTake ownership of the Aged payables balances across various departmentsManaging the AP team: Leading and training accounts payable assistant/specialistLeading AP month-end closing processWork closely with internal stakeholders to ensure P2P processes are adhered toAssist with cost analysis and provide insights into the businesses key cost driversOpportunity to perform other ad hoc projects as assigned by your managerWork with the systems team to make our accounts payable process and controls more efficient and effective

What you’ll need

A degree in accounting, finance or equivalent with a 2:1 or finance or accounting experiencePrevious experience working in an Accounts Payable team and managing junior staffBasic Excel skillsIdeally working experience using Netsuite accounting software and Pleo cardExcellent attention to detailConfident in communication and problem solvingBe able to work in a high volume, entrepreneurial environment  - speed and accuracy are key!
