ECO Domestic Electrician

We are looking for an Electrician to service our ECO customers homes! 🐙We're excited to connect with amazing people based across Durham, Newcastle, Darlington, York or Teeside! If you're based in one of these areas, we’d love to hear from you.Here at Octopus Energy ECO, we’re responsible for delivering the government mandated ECO scheme. We are passionate about helping vulnerable customers of lower-income by improving the insulation in their homes, to help reduce their bills and carbon emissions.  We work with an internal and external supply chain insulating customer homes across the UK within the compliance rules of the ECO scheme.This role is remote with daily travel to customer homes.

What you'll do

Assist or insulation crews working at customers' properties, whilst maining top-notch electrical safety.Coordinate and oversee working on the safe removal of electrical outlets and then reinstatement, once the homes insulation is completedProvide outstanding customer service - customers are at the heart of everything we do at Octopus!You’ll be part of a team, working collaboratively with your peers to deliver awesome solutions that are right for you and your customers

What you'll need

You’ll be a fully qualified electrician with post-qualification work experienceYou’ll be competent in varied electrical installations Ability to review and challenge technical issues found on site as well as an awareness of electrical guidance and regulationsDomestic electrical installation experience is essential Electrical installation design/fault find knowledgeBuilding make-up knowledge Previous experience within MCS accredited organisation is an advantage18th Edition is required
