Northvolt has an exciting job offer for a young professional to join the Supply Chain team in Stockholm as part of a paid 9-week summer internship

In joining us you will play an important part from the very start in developing a new generation of large scale European battery factories. To deliver on Northvolt’s vision and bold expansion plans we have established the Blueprint team. The team’s mission is to deliver a digital factory blueprint of a scalable, rapidly deployable, highly efficient world class battery factory. It constitutes a comprehensive solution with guidelines and tools needed for establishment of the factory spanning process, equipment, materials, facility, utilities and people.

We are looking for top talent's to join:

Planning and Logistics - Design & Procurement (Stockholm)

The Design & Procurement team looks after two major areas of responsibility:

1. The flow design for cargo to/from/between our factory locations and external warehouses, which basically means figuring out what mode of transport (air, ocean, rail, road) to use and how to set up these flows with regard to existing, and future, infrastructure.

2. The procurement of all transportation and external warehousing. This is an end-to-end responsibility including supplier strategy, RFx/tender management, supplier evaluation and contracting.

We are a team of 4 that work project-based and the work involves no (or very limited) operational responsibility. We are looking for someone who wants to work in, and better understand, the commercial side of logistics and who would be interested in supporting our efforts with analytical work, strategic efforts, process creation and commercial evaluations with an extra focus on sustainability in addition to cost.
