Region NCE - SBU NCE Service - Region Finland

The service department of Vestas Finland is responsible for the service and maintenance of primarily wind turbines in Finland. In line with Vestas' quality, HSE, and Operational procedures, it will be your responsibility to organise, plan and support all site activities, ensuring the smooth and safe availability of maintenance plans and general site resources for the offshore delivery of works.

This role’s primary location will be the Vestas headquarters in Vaasa, Finland.

Responsibilities

As the Team Leader Dispatching you will be part of our Finnish service operations team, reporting to the Area Manager Service. You will lead a team of dispatchers handling the northern part of Finland. Your role will involve supporting the operational site team with maintenance and materials planning, documentation management, service scheduling and facilitation of our ERP operating system.

Furthermore, your responsibilities will be:

  • Lead, coach and develop a team of dispatchers, to perform services in line with set KPI´s, contractual obligations and customer expectations.
  • Ensure efficient planning and scheduling of work to ensure minimum downtime and maximum productivity. Tools, parts & services are planned and received before crew mobilization.
  • Make prioritizations when needed.
  • Ensure both long- and short-term forecasting is in place and monitor progress. Escalate issues where issues are recognized or expected.
  • KPIs and PPIs related to Planning & Scheduling are balanced and under control

Qualifications

  • Experience with people management
  • Experience of a role in an operational line of business
  • Coordination and organizational skills, technical understanding
  • Completed technical or commercial training is an advantage, career changers are also welcome
  • Good verbal and written skills in both English and Finnish or Swedish
  • IT skills (preferred: SAP, Salesforce, MS Office)
