General Ledger Analyst

A Snapshot of Your Day

Join us as a General Ledger, Closing & Reporting Analyst, where you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our financial reporting. You will collaborate with domain experts to clarify accounting issues, analyze errors, and support process improvements. Manage daily General Ledger tasks and month-end activities, ensuring compliance with IFRS, local GAAP, and relevant standards. Engage with internal and external stakeholders, actively listening to their needs and sharing best practices to enhance our processes. Your contributions will directly impact our financial integrity and operational efficiency.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Orchestrate the Month-end Closing (MEC) for your assigned company, fostering collaboration and problem-solving skills.
• Ensure robust audit controls and perform thorough accounts reconciliation.
• Assist in implementing and documenting new processes and procedures to enhance efficiency.
• Maintain general housekeeping of General Ledger accounts and manage intercompany reconciliations.
• Post accruals, provisions, and other relevant GL items to ensure accurate financial reporting.

What You Bring

• A Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.
• A solid understanding of SAP-FI (testing will be conducted).
• Fluency in English (B2 – C1 level).
• A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in Accounting & Finance Operations.
• Preferable knowledge of General Ledger, Closing & Reporting accounting, and IFRS.
• Proficient MS-Office skills, particularly in MS-Excel.
• Experience in transitions and transformation projects is an advantage.

Operating from Accounting Service Centers across the Americas, Europe, and Asia, AS provides essential accounting solutions that contribute to our vision of energizing society. Our team is built on the pillars of people, processes, and technology, all of which are continuously challenged and developed. You will be operationally coordinated by the General Ledger, Closing & Reporting Team Lead and will report to the Accounting Service Center General Ledger, Closing & Reporting Function Lead, becoming part of both the local finance community and an international network of accounting experts.
