Working as part of the Asia Pacific Business Unit of Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy (SGRE), the Construction Project Manager is responsible to lead the team and coordinate the project, site and installation activities in order to safely install and commission wind turbines on schedule and within budget, from the project opening clarification, Design/Detailed planning, Purchasing/ Manufacture/ Dispatch/ Construction/ Commissioning/ Acceptance/ Project Execution Closure.
  • Ensure the WTG package planning and execution according to the contract and HSE procedures, meaning in quality, time and budget and regarding local constrains (country, site, installation strategy, security, etc.)
  • Manage stakeholders related to Package
  • Manage Risk and Opportunities for Package
  • Monitor the fulfillment of targeted KPIs for the project and develop appropriate action plans if corrections are needed
  • Ensure the availability in time and in budget of the Technical Documentation, Tools and Materials for project execution phase
  • Responsible for preparation and facilitation of the final Handover of Package deliverables to SE and customer
  • Ensure the correct application and capture of Learnings
  • Tasks:
  • Participate in project kick-off and review the contract
  • Provide to the PM the information required for fulfilling the Project Management Plan
  • Plan and coordinate Package execution tasks guaranteeing H&S, quality, time and costs
  • Support the preparation of the RFQs (include customer contract liability coverage) for CNS activities and technical validation about offers received
  • Support PM, if required, on defining procedures and contracts for CNS Package
  • Attend project kick-off meeting with internal and external stakeholders
  • Lead weekly meeting with CNS subcontractors for tasks planning and contract management (penalties and claims)
  • Accept package deliveries from third parties reviewing and agreeing invoicing
  • In coordination with PM, manage the CNS Budget, Forecast and coordinate of the project and continuous monitoring
  • Assist PM with planning and client works acceptance
  • Collect, analyze and update EAC costs and KPI data related to CNS activities (incl. NCCs, R&O, GMB)
  • Inform about NCCs related to the package at the first possible point in time after detection, support its assessment and categorization and implement the resulting containment actions for minimizing the impact
  • Assist to meetings (internals and customer)
  • Participate and contribute to R&O and Learnings workshop
  • Control the HSE plan fulfillment for CNS and support the incidents investigation
  • Verify that inspections results are documented and registered
  • Support in quality damages and claim management (8D, NCC)
  • Control the application of assembly processes and procedures
  • Manage missing parts on time and budget
  • Coordinate the management of CNS tooling needs and return to RU the soonest
  • Request ECC PP to prepare budget and Customs Check List (CCL) for material import / export and provide the required data and import / export documentation for review and approval
  • Support Handover to SE
  • Execute CNS package project closure and learnings capture
  • Qualifications:
  • Experience in wind industry is mandatory.
  • Minimum 5 years site or project management experience in relevant field.
  • Experience in managing and leading teams and work with subcontractors and clients.
  • Experience with working in a multicultural environment.
  • Knowledge with the general workflow for wind project in APAC region.
  • Experience with the general Power Curve/Noise Control/SCADA interface and set up with site team.
  • Knowledge in people and project management methods and techniques, commercial management.
  • Documented management experience.
  • Excellent IT skills including MS Office/SharePoint
  • Good communication skill is essential, both verbally and written.
  • Experience in project scheduling an advantage.
