Security Operations Center team delivers monitoring and response capabilities related to OT environment. As part of Enterprise Cyber Security, SOC takes part in supplying Vestas and its' customers with reliable and secure cyber services. On a high level, the team supports Vestas in maintaining the position of world leader in wind industry, and the company's growth targets in coming years.

Responsibilities

Incident Manager oversees Cyber Incident Management process.

During high severity cybersecurity incidents, acts as an Incident Commander. In details:

  • Communicates with stakeholders (service teams, senior management, and leaders) and facilitates awareness activities and proper engagement in relation to the process and ICS4ICS framework
  • Works closely with SOC Incident Response team on maintaining high quality of ticket handling, playbooks, and other technical documentation
  • Responsible for metrics creation, reporting, and conducting regular analysis
  • Acts as Incident Commander during high severity/major incidents, coordinating all facets of the incident response effort and handling escalations to Crisis Management.
  • Works closely with SMEs to quickly identify customer impact and produces accurate, timely communications tailored to relevant audiences (Senior Leaders and internal Stakeholders)
  • Conducts tabletop exercises and fire drills regularly; primary working hours are CET business hours, but on-call duty and extended hours may be required during high severity incidents

Qualifications

  • A Bachelors or Master degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity or relevant
  • Min. 5 years of experience in Incident Management role (e.g. Situational Manager, Problem Manager, Incident Management process owner, etc.)
  • Fluent English, written and verbal (min. C1)
  • ICS4ICS certification or ready to learn and certify
  • Cybersecurity certificates are nice to have
  • Supervisory or team lead experience would be a benefit
  • Good verbal and written communication skills, with all levels in and outside organization

  • Quick learner with a learning mindset and ability to share knowledge
  • Effective under time pressure and in dynamic environments, with strong decision-making skills
  • Self-motivated and committed, able to operate with limited supervision
  • Skilled in preparing and analyzing metrics/reports, with knowledge of OT infrastructure and cyber lexicon/terminology, technical SOC skills, cyber-attack stages, adversarial tactics and techniques, current threat vectors, and cyber attackers
