Job Description

We are looking for a driven Sales & Operations Planning Developer to join us in our mission to contribute to a greener future. You will be part of our passionate Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) team working in office placed in Gdańsk. This is a fixed-term contract (one year) interim position.

About the job

As Sales & Operations Planning Developer you will have a key responsibility to secure a high service level towards our customers and overseeing the end-to-end process from sales order to customer deliveries. You will be responsible for establishing and leading how we gather, organize, and visualize S&OP planning data – KPIs, demand, supply/operations, and financial actuals, plans and targets – to enable the S&OP process at Northvolt Systems.

About the team

The S&OP team is a small and agile team which goal is to set the direction and the roadmap for our journey to advanced and integrated S&OP. The team is passionate about driving and ensuring Northvolt demand & supply are of high quality, balanced and aligned with our business objectives We have a strong focus on lean processes and standardization to increase execution efficiency.

Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

· Leading the S&OP Demand Review to build, consolidate, validate, and gain consensus with commercial teams and customers on a high-quality forecast and demand plan · Managing demand changes and issues with commercial teams, customers, and operations · Track Demand and Supply Risks and Opportunities, model Scenarios · Supporting the S&OP scenario planning process · Setting up and managing technology to support and automate the S&OP process, KPI dashboards, reports & integration of data across the different systems that drives the planning process · Tracking, investigating and visualizing S&OP analytics and metrics · Driving innovation, capability and continuous improvement of the different planning processes and technologies

Skills & Requirements

We believe you have:

• A Master’s degree in business or engineering, preferably in Supply Chain field • Minimum 4-5 years work experience from production, supply chain analytics or planning • Experience from working with an advanced supply chain planning software • Passion for planning and good understanding of the interdependencies between demand planning, supply chain planning and financial planning • Excellent English written and oral skills • Working experience in international fast-paced environment

About the company

Northvolt is a European supplier of sustainable, high-quality battery cells and systems. Northvolt Ett is a next generation battery cell factory focused on process innovation, scale and vertical integration. Once completed, the gigafactory will be one of the largest battery cell factory in Europe and produce at least 32 GWh of capacity annually.

Alongside Northvolt Ett, Northvolt is also establishing a manufacturing site for battery systems in Gdansk, Poland. This facility, Northvolt Battery Systems Jeden, will industrialize and produce world leading battery systems in order to meet the increased demand for complete battery solutions on the European market. The factory is a highly automated, state-of-the-art production facility for battery modules and energy storage solutions.

We are currently in an exciting fast-growing phase and operate in a dynamic environment, dealing with a wide range of stakeholders. We are staffing our international office in Stockholm, our R&D facility, Northvolt Labs in Västerås, as well as Northvolt Battery Systems Jeden, in Gdansk, for production of battery systems. We are also preparing for upcoming positions at the main factory, Northvolt Ett, in Skellefteå.
