How to contribute to our vision

The interface and collaboration with global functions and regions within Siemens Gamesa is key to the success of our global Process & Program management team. Within this team it is expected to drive process excellence for regional and global processes and successfully manage allocated strategic improvement projects to support our Onshore Masterplan. Our team consists of project-, process- and change managers with experience of running improvement projects and all based in different geographical locations.

What are your responsibilities?

  • Identify, initiate, and drive operational and strategic improvement projects within the global Process & Program management function

  • Project/Program lead for the setup of a global shared service center delivering centralized services to our regional teams

  • Drive selected transformation efforts to support the transition of the Operating model and our organizational development in Onshore Project Execution and Service – high change management focus

  • Develop business case and prioritization for continuous improvement work, and working with complex financial and performance metrics.

  • Interact independently with stakeholders on the highest levels of the organization to drive the project forward, globally

  • Ensure strong focus on the implementation of the application solution(s) development in strong partnership with the regions and to ensure value-add for our key operations in Service,

  • Minimum of 5-8 years of relevant Project Management and/or consulting experience, ideally from the wind or service industry. Experience of project management or operational transformation is an advantage.

  • High business acumen in diverse topics is a strong benefit

  • Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change are important aspects to make a difference. Technical skills, finance skills and working with business cases are important factors 

What are your qualifications? 

  • University degree in management, business engineering, engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or natural science

  • Minimum of 5-8 years of relevant Project Management and/or consulting experience, ideally from the wind or service industry.

  • Ideally 2+ years in a management consultancy or strategy department of a large or mid-sized corporation with experience driving transformation projects

  • You are able to structure and manage strategic projects independently

  • You have shown ability to implement and bring concepts to live in a fast moving and changing environment. Passion for change management.

  • You are committed to deadlines and show ownership on your assignments,

  • You are structured and demonstrated strong problem-solving skills (strategic, quantitative, and organizational / process assignments) taking a holistic end-to-end perspective,

  • Proven track record in project management, and the ability to communicate and interact with colleagues and collaborators at all levels in a large, complex and global organization,

  • Experience in Lean / Six Sigma methodologies in order to drive continues improvement concepts and problem-solving processes would be beneficial.

  • International work experience e.g., as part of an international project team or working abroad: Including strong English proficiency.

  • Team player with a can-do attitude, open to feedback from peers and managers and willingness to learn and develop.
