We are currently searching for a Senior Technician to join our Service team in Nijkerk. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our onshore wind farms. Based in our Nijkerk office, you will also spend an average of one day per week at a wind farm. Our working hours are Monday to Friday, from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

As a Senior Technician, you will play a pivotal part in supporting our on-site Service Technicians, while showcasing your technical expertise, leadership, communication skills, and commitment to safety. You'll be expected to independently explain technical concepts, findings, and practices to others.

How to contribute to our vision:

  • Technical planning - defining priority levels, documentation, tooling, spare parts, and forecasted duration for tasks in SAP.

  • Technical support – communication with on-site Service Technicians and central Technical Departments.

  • Technical expert in the back-office team – advising managers, planners, and warehouse responsibles on technical aspects of ongoing activities.

  • Offering technical customer support, addressing questions from wind farm owners.

  • Supporting Safety Meetings and creating presentations for Service Technicians.

  • Conducting Safety Inspections and Technical Meetings with Service Technicians.

  • Approving permit-to-work systems for LV and HV tasks.

  • Performing Product Quality Inspections during wind turbine visits

  • Inspecting the Quality of Works performed by subcontractors on wind turbines.

  • Handling technical cases.

  • Preparing campaigns for preventive maintenance and retrofits.

  • Preparing Monthly Availability Reports.

What you need to make a difference:

  • Al least 5 years of technical working experience.

  • At least 5 years of on-site wind farm experience.

  • At least 3 years of experience as a Troubleshooter.

  • At least 2 years of experience with HV works (wind turbines or elsewhere).

  • An electrical education or equivalent experience.

  • A strong understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • An aptitude for learning new IT systems.

  • Fluency in English.

  • Living within commuting distance of Nijkerk.

  • In possession of a currently valid working visa.
