Service > Global Service Operations > Offshore The Global Service LEAN team plays a critical role in fostering a culture of continuous improvement and growth within our Service Business. Our team is responsible for coordinating strategy deployment processes, developing global concepts, and implementing breakthrough improvements using world-class methodologies such as Lean and Six Sigma.  

Responsibilities As a Service Lean Specialist Offshore, you will be part of a diverse team of Lean Professionals and Specialists working across various geographical regions to enhance the Operational Excellence maturity of our Service business. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Analyzing performance data and root causes to understand and explain financial impacts
  • Coordinating small to medium improvement projects focused on work methods and processes in turbines, offices, and warehouses
  • Facilitating Kaizen events and follow-up sessions to identify and sustain improvements
  • Implementing predictive maintenance solutions to enhance operational efficiency
  • Deploying Lean tools and assessing training needs to ensure effective use and understanding
  • Reducing operational costs through systematic process improvements

Qualifications To succeed in this position, we expect you to have:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • Fluent English
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Lean, Six Sigma, or Continuous Improvement, with a proven track record of achievements
  • Experience in supervising small to medium projects within an international, cross-functional environment
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency with IT tools to effectively communicate performance data and financial impacts
  • Experience with Lean methodologies in diverse environments, such as manufacturing and transactional settings

Competencies

  • Willingness to travel across the North Sea & Baltic Sea (mainly Poland, Germany, Denmark & potentially other Baltic states) and maintain regular contact with colleagues in different countries and time zones
  • Proficiency in following up on tasks and projects across various regions
  • Superior written and verbal presentation and communication skills
