A Snapshot of Your DayEmbark on an exciting two-year Commissioning Engineer Graduate Programme with Siemens Energy’s Gas Services team in Newcastle upon Tyne. Our Operations facility designs and services leading energy-technology products; you will provide hands-on commissioning and technical support.

Your Role
From day one you will commission and test complex electrical systems that power hydrogen-based clean-energy solutions. Working alongside experienced engineers and technicians, you will gain practical exposure to electrical and mechanical installations, fault finding and diagnostics while complying with the highest safety standards.

What You Bring

  • Degree (minimum 2:1) in Electrical, Energy Systems, Industrial or General Engineering (recent graduates or final-year students).
  • Solid grasp of electrical-engineering fundamentals and a hands-on mindset.
  • Curious, proactive team-player eager to learn and share ideas.
  • Willingness to engage in STEM outreach and societal-impact initiatives.

Newcastle upon Tyne site, home of the historic Parsons steam turbine since 1889, now also manufactures and services gas turbines, compressors and hydrogen solutions.
