As a Senior Automation Service Engineer at Siemens Energy, you will play a pivotal role in commissioning, maintaining, troubleshooting, and developing automation programs for retrofit projects. Your day will involve working closely with cross-functional teams and customers to ensure reliable operation of automation systems, resolve technical challenges, and optimize system performance. How You’ll Make an Impact

• Commission, configure, and test automation systems for energy projects, ensuring smooth integration and reliable operation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve automation-related issues on-site and remotely to minimize downtime.
• Provide technical support and service for installed systems, including upgrades and modifications.
• Develop and adapt automation programs for retrofit projects, ensuring compatibility with existing infrastructure.
• Collaborate with engineering and project teams to ensure successful system handover and customer satisfaction.
• Mentor junior engineers and technicians, sharing best practices in commissioning, troubleshooting, and retrofit development.
• Stay updated on industry standards, Siemens Energy technologies, and emerging automation tools to continuously improve service delivery.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in automation service engineering, with a focus on commissioning, troubleshooting, and retrofit development.
• Strong competencies in Simatic PCS7 and/or SICAM systems.
• Solid knowledge of PLC programming, SCADA systems, and industrial communication protocols
• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to technical challenges.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with customers and stakeholders.
• Passion for sustainability and a commitment to supporting energy transformation through reliable automation solutions.
