How to contribute to our vision

We are expanding our IT teams to support the growth of Siemens Gamesa. We are searching for a SAP Senior Solution Architect S/4HANA ERP (f/m/x). In this role you will perform a broad range of service management operations in the area of SAP ERP as Senior Solution Architect in collaboration with business process experts and IT service providers.

In this role you will:

  • Functional leader of a team of SAP Solution Architects

  • Owner of the overall IT Solution Design in all SAP ERP applications

  • Ensure with his/her team that the Solution Design is consistent, stable and audit compliant

  • Final decision maker on IT Solution Design topics for SAP ERP

  • Collaborates with external service suppliers and vendors

  • Facilitates decision making of SAP design topics between the business, project teams and service providers

  • Consults business stakeholders on ideal / optimal implementation of application related business processes

  • Closely aligns integration to other applications and application roadmap with Enterprise Architecture team

  • Contributes and supports planning, budgeting, design and alignment of service management processes and IT solutions landscapes

  • Contributes to the design and implement a roadmap for SAP ERP following the IT Strategy and Target IT Architecture in close collaboration together with the IT Business Partners.

  • Ensures IT Service excellence by monitoring relevant KPI’s, regular customer feedback and continuous improvements together with IT Partners, IT Operations and Business

What you need to make a difference

Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change. We are also looking for…

  • An academic degree in Computer Science, or similar

  • 7-10 years of experience in leading functional teams in international projects

  • 7-10 years of work experience in SAP ERP as cross functional Solution Architect

  • Work experience in cross functional solution design in S/4HANA and related applications of ARIBA and FSM

  • Have in-depth functional and technical knowledge in the functional design of business end to end processes in the Wind Power industry considering logistic and value flow.

  • Have in-depth understanding of SAP Basis and ABAP development to a level needed to validate functional specifications

  • Experience with the implementation of ITIL and Service Management methodologies

  • Have a very good understanding of Cyber Security Compliance to ensure service availability and data security

  • Experience in outsourced services and Vendor Management

  • Have experience in facilitating decision meetings, and in providing documentation for, and to drive for decisions

  • Fluent in English language, in writing and spoken

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills towards business and IT management, as well as business end-users and IT technical personnel. Understand the diversity of the audience to ensure communication is well perceived
