Job Description

<p><strong>Join our Enpal Salesforce team </strong>for a dynamic role encompassing all facets of Salesforce work. Work alongside skilled professionals across various functions (Administrators, Product Managers, Developers, QA, DevOps) with ample opportunities for knowledge exchange and growth. Ideal candidates possess expertise in <strong>LWC, integrations, flows, and Apex/ECMA,</strong> offering hands-on technical support. Strong communication skills are vital for translating requirements into actionable solutions and justifying decisions.</p><p>We're seeking a<strong> Software Engineer </strong>who is passionate about clean code, software craftsmanship, and building scalable distributed systems on the Salesforce platform. At Enpal, you'll be part of a team that values engineering excellence and treats Salesforce as a serious development platform, not just a configuration tool.</p><p><strong>Your Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Design and implement scalable, maintainable solutions that solve complex business problems</li><li>Champion software quality practices including code reviews, pair programming, and automated testing</li><li>Collaborate with product teams to design technical architectures that enable business agility</li><li>Mentor other developers in software engineering best practices</li><li>Drive technical decisions that balance quality, speed, and business value</li><li>Build reusable components and libraries that enable faster, more reliable development</li></ul>

Qualifications

<p><strong>Technical Excellence We're Looking For</strong></p><ul><li>Deep understanding of software engineering principles: Design Patterns, Clean Architecture, DDD concepts</li><li>Experience building and maintaining large-scale applications with complex business logic</li><li>Strong foundation in API design and event-driven architecture</li><li>Proven track record of improving system performance and scalability</li><li>Proven track record of implementing maintainable, testable business logic in Apex</li><li>Experience with continuous integration, automated testing, and deployment strategies</li><li>Creating maintainable test frameworks and achieving high test coverage</li><li>Optimizing database operations and handling bulk data processing scenarios</li><li>Experience with declarative-to-programmatic migration strategies, particularly Flow-to-Apex conversions</li></ul><p><strong>About You</strong></p><ul><li>You have 5+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 3 years focusing on the Salesforce platform (Development experience outside Salesforce ecosystem is a plus)</li><li>You're opinionated about code quality but pragmatic about delivery</li><li>You enjoy teaching others and sharing knowledge</li><li>You're fluent in English; German is a plus</li></ul>
