Junior Finance Analyst- Madrid

Vestas Mediterranean (MED) is a Sales Business Unit (SBU) within Vestas Wind Systems A/S, covering markets in the Mediterranean region, the Middle East and Africa. Vestas MED is responsible for developing these markets in terms of sales, projects, operations and maintenance. This position will be part of MED HQ Construction team which is responsible of the transport and installation, commissioning and test of the turbines until it is handed over to O&M department.

Nowadays we are recruiting a Performance Analyst for the Performance Department which is responsible for monitoring, forecasting and reporting the main financial KPI (revenue, cash, margin and fixed capacity costs), inluding SAP maintenance and creation of ad hoc analysis.

Responsibilities

The Performance Analyst will be responsible for

• Updating working excel tools
• Track deviations between forecasts and actuals
• Update SAP for revenue recognition
• Monitor and analyze financial forecast evolution
• Conduct root-cause analysis and assess potential risks in forecast submissions
• Perform monthly financial and performance dashboards
• Prepare various ad-hoc analysis and presentations for review to support internal decision-making.

Qualifications

• B.Sc. in Business Administration, Finance or Industrial Engineering
• 1-3 years of experience in finance analysis
• Fluent in English and Spanish. Fluency in French is an asset
• Advanced skills using excel (including SAC).
• PowerPoint and SAP knowledge.

• Living in Madrid is required.
