Siemens Energy coordinates global goods movements. Modern IT solutions cut cost and risk by automating import, export and customs classification.

Our IT customs applications drive the worldwide customs strategy in the most digitised way. While global tools cover most requirements, regional gaps remain. You will close these gaps by initiating low-code or Alteryx solutions and translate customs requirements into IT implementations, steering the respective projects.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Validate business use cases and requirements.
• Visualise processes and align them with affected functions.
• Launch implementation of global or national customs use cases in our applications.
• Digitalise and automate manual steps or standardise processes to meet regional needs.
• Develop expertise in low-code platforms (Mendix, Alteryx, Snowflake) and grow into a citizen-developer role.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, information management or equivalent customs experience.
• 3+ years customs environment experience (senior positions possible for more experience).
• Solid understanding of core customs processes.
• Strong analytical skills to review processes and identify improvement areas.
• Knowledge of foreign-trade data requirements and integration with global trade management systems.
• Fluent English.
