We are looking for a Data Analysis & Simulation Professionalin Charlotte, NC to handle Automation, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science projects, and enhance technical and leadership skills.
How You’ll Make an Impact:
- Engage in cross-departmental collaborations to broaden the impact of multiple business units like Steam Turbine, Generator and Grid Technology innovations across the company.
- Development and deployment for the real time object and defect detection in the Steam Turbine Rotor welding business unit.
- Handle display and storage of camera images and power supply to camera via PoE network card for connected arc camera Real time AI based image evaluation and video recording using a powerful graphics card.
- Optimize the business processes, improve Visibility and Transparency of Large Generator (LGN) Data by automating the end-to-end process and developing the applications, automation tools and solutions.
- Develop the Datasets and Datamart using Extract, Transform and load (ETL) and data manipulation tools including the Physical, Logical, and conceptual models for data mart design and development.
- Understand business analytics requests for the whole Large Generator (LGN). Gather data from various sources for reporting and analysis.
- Create advanced visualizations to support the operations staff to make decisions on strategy and tactics for the organization.
- Document the design and key features of the product to help long term maintenance.
What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Science, or a related field and 5 years of experience.
- Full term of experience must include: programming knowledge using Python and R;
- Data visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI;
- Developing, testing, and implementing data initiatives;
- ETL Tools;
- Data analytics tools and software such as Alteryx, or SAS;
- Statistical analysis and data modeling techniques.
- Experience must also include: knowledge of big data cloud technologies (e.g. AWS);
- UIPath or similar RPA tools;
- SAP backend tables and table structure with SAP scripting;
- Machine Learning methods, algorithms and approach;
- Artificial intelligence techniques like Natural language processing, computer vision and deep learning;
- Cloud technologies (e.g., AWS); and
- Github.
