Job Description

The electrification of cars, trucks and busses is one of the most extensive and disruptive industry transformations in history. Northvolt leads this change and aims to not only becoming the leading battery partner for the automotive industry in Europe, but also to delivering the greenest battery in the world. Therefore, an efficient and environmentally friendly battery recycling is at the core of our strategy to ensure closing the loop with our Automotive Clients. Revolt is Northvolt’s Business Unit for recycling. We are now looking to hire our next Key Account Manager.

As a Key Account Manager of Business Development within Revolt battery recycling you get are together with the Business Development team responsible for short and long-term activities for our customers including developing circular business models, initiating and maintaining client relationships and closing complex large scale deals.

We believe you have a solid background in business development as well as from project management in the automotive industry, maybe at a Tier 1 supplier. You are skilled at selling complex technical solutions and building lasting relationships with both engineering as well as senior management.

You are an inspiring business-oriented project leader with the ability to both setting and articulating strategic roadmaps and business models as well as implementing tactical plans and closing deals. You will have several own large customer accounts.

You will be part of the Revolt Business Development Team and work closely with both our Expansion, Project, Operations and R&D teams as well as with intra company Business Units such as Northvolt’s Automotive Team. The role reports to Revolt’s VP of Business Operations.

You will divide your time between our offices in Germany, Skellefteå, Stockholm and Västerås and travel on a regular basis to our customers in Europe. Location Hamburg, Germany or Stockholm, Sweden.

Skills & Requirements

We believe that you have:

  • Academical background on Master of science level, preferably economics/business administration

  • Several years of experience in international B2B business development activities / acquisition / commercial, and leadership

  • Solid background in business development, project management and leadership

  • Proven track record at selling complex technical solutions and building lasting relationships with both engineering as well as senior management

  • Set up and manage multiple customer accounts

  • Excellent verbal and writes skills in English

Bonus points for:

  • Preferably advanced knowledge of German
  • Experience and interest in manufacturing industry
  • Experience from a multi-cultural environment
