We are looking for a (Senior) Demand Manager Lifting Equipment to join our global Offshore Execution Equipment Management (EQM) team, to proactively manage lifting equipment delivery to our global transport organization. Thereby you enable on time availability of equipment required for on- and offloading of components to vessels to ensure on-time delivery to our global execution projects.

The OF EXE EQM team is responsible for on time, on quality and on budget delivery of tools, transport and installation equipment to our global offshore execution project portfolio, internal blade and nacelle factories and our tower vendors.

How to contribute to our vision

As a (Senior) Demand Manager Lifting Equipment, you will have the strategic responsibility to ensure on time delivery of lifting equipment (TEQ) to our global transport organization. You are the core interface to the transport managers, ensuring on-time availability of all required equipment for on- and offloading of components to transport vessels.

More specifically your key tasks will include – but are not limited – to:

  • Pro-actively manage the delivery of lifting equipment to our transport organization and thereby safeguarding on-time distribution of components to our global offshore execution projects.
  • Support the mid- to long-term demand planning of required lifting equipment procurement, balancing CAPEX optimization and on-time delivery.
  • Continuously optimizing the global lifting equipment workflow in close alignment with transport managers and equipment portfolio management
  • Act as the core interface towards transport management, continuously aligning on required deliveries and developing mitigation strategies for identified delivery risks.
  • Ensure efficient lifting equipment management across the global offshore equipment framework.

What you need to make a difference

  • We need motivated team player, self-driven, structured with excellent communication skills and very strong sense of ownership.
  • You interact with stakeholders across all levels in the organization.
  • You are motivated by providing top quality results within the deadlines and are happy to work in a dynamic organization and environment.
  • Preferably we would like you to have a bachelor’s or master’s degree within Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or any similar, relevant field of study. 
  • You should be curious, having a continuous learning mindset and strive to contribute to the organizations’ development.
  • You know how to plan and prioritize the given tasks within your assignment.
  • Furthermore, it is essential that you have analytical mind and can leverage your extensive knowledge of O365 (especially Excel) and ERP. Our ERP is SAP S/4HANA; hence knowledge and experience in it is preferable.
  • You must thrive in a multi-cultural environment and be familiar with working in large organizations.
  • It is therefore important that you have excellent English language skills, both written and spoken.
