How to contribute to our vision 

We are looking for a self-driven Student Worker to support our Offshore Equipment Center team in Esbjerg with a variety of data analysis tasks.

In Offshore Equipment Center we are looking for a quality and detail-oriented Student Worker to join the team. The team consists of 25 dedicated employees, 5 in administration and 20 warehouse worker, who all contribute to an efficient supply of logistics equipment and material to all Offshore wind turbine projects run by Siemens Gamesa.

The Offshore Equipment Center is part of Offshore Equipment Operation, placed in the Offshore Equipment. Overall, Offshore Equipment Center ensures storage, distribution and maintenance of all the equipment rented out to the various projects. This includes monitoring the availability of items, expediting sources, managing the material and equipment orders as well as optimizing the material flow on an on-going basis.

In this role, you will be contributing to be the best in the industry ensuring end-to-end outbound logistics performance resulting in an optimized impact on the bottom line of the specific projects. You will have possibility to gain experience from various job functions by working with experts in different fields.

Your responsibilities will consist of: 

  • Support in maintaining bill of materials list’s (bomlists).

  • Create Non-Conformance Reports (NCR’s).

  • Create Enablon / Safety observations.

  • Supporting Offshore Equipment Center with Stock updates / move between plants and Stock inventory, internal consumption.

  • Supporting Offshore Equipment Center Follow-up on reorder points, update and downgrade.

  • Supporting Offshore Equipment Center with Circle count.

  • Supporting Offshore Equipment Center in planning and level out demand.

  • Ad hoc administrative tasks.

What you need to make a difference 

Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change. We are looking for someone who is currently enrolled at the university (bachelor or master’s) in the beginning of their studies, with preferably 1.5 to 2 years (or more) left of their studies. Your study area is not important, as long as, you have a passion for data analysis. Please attach your transcript from your university as well as your CV.

To be successful in this role, you need/are: 

  • You are an advanced user of MS Office.

  • Experience with SAP is an advantage, but not a must have.

  • You possess excellent English skills both verbally and in writing.

  • You have strong communication skills.

  • As a person you are analytic, outgoing and a quick learner.

  • You have a structured and organized approach to your tasks and like to work in a team.

Beware, we are looking for a student worker who is able to come into the office in Esbjerg 1-3 times a week. The working hours are flexible.

Most importantly, you challenge yourself and your colleagues to achieve the best results. You have a high professional competency, and you have a desire to develop your skills. You have good collaboration skills, and you can manage to act in different cultural contexts. To thrive in this position, you must have a strong result- and customer-oriented approach.
