Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and driven Manufacturing Program Manager to join our team at Northvolt Ett in Skellefteå, Sweden. In this role, you will take ownership of individual programs within our manufacturing portfolio, playing a pivotal role in coordinating a seamless transition from construction and commissioning to the successful ramp-up of production operations.

As a Program Manager, you will be responsible for the development and execution of individual programs within our manufacturing portfolio. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will ensure the seamless integration of program activities, monitor progress, and identify potential risks or delays. Your contributions will be instrumental in achieving project milestones and driving operational excellence. Collaborating and aligning with your Program Manager counterparts in the team is critical to enable balance in the portfolio across all program needs.

About the team

The Manufacturing Program Manager is a critical leadership role in our Program Management Office (PMO) embedded within the Manufacturing Organization at Northvolt Ett., which consists of three key teams: Standards, Planning, and Reporting, a group of approximately thirty. Each team focuses on specific aspects of program management and contributes to the overall success of our manufacturing projects. This role does not manage individual team members directly, rather defining program objectives and organize activity tasking across cross functional teams and additional PMO resources assigned to supporting your programs, such as analysts, planners, and specialists.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Own and drive individual programs within the manufacturing portfolio, ensuring alignment with overall objectives.

  • Develop and execute comprehensive program plans, collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve project milestones.

  • Maintain detailed schedules, monitor progress, and identify potential risks or delays.

  • Collaborate with senior management to align program plans with portfolio objectives.

  • Leading risk analysis and mitigation strategies.

  • Provide program leadership and tasking to assigned support resources.

Skills & Requirements

We believe that you have:

  • Master’s degree, preferably engineering or industrial in nature, flexible with equivalent professional experience.

  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing program management roles, demonstrating successful production launch

  • Proven ability to work independently and take ownership of program objectives.

  • Proficiency in Oracle Primavera P6 ePPM

  • Expertise in program management methodologies, with a focus on schedule generation and execution.

  • Familiarity with battery manufacturing processes and technologies is advantageous.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing priorities and driving results.
