The Process Quality Area Manager would be responsible for defining and implementing Northvolt’s quality management system, developing new approaches in standards compliance, meeting or exceeding the Customers’ quality requirements and in compliance with relevant quality standards.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Review and approve the process quality plans
Create the template and processes for different departments of Northvolt
Moderating a weekly Q-Process meeting with the superintendent and lead the Quality
Management based on effective data review and analyses
Accountability/Authorization
• Budget responsibility: Yes • Direct reports: Yes • Authorized to decide on investments according to role and policy.

We believe that you have :
• MSc in e.g. Chemical/Industrial/Mechanical engineering • 5+ years’ experience in quality management role • Experienced in implementing quality management systems and standards • Experienced in quality improvement and problem-solving tools such as 8D etc • Relevant quality education, e.g. ISO9001 internal auditor • Experience in automotive industry Specific skills • Excellent English proficiency, Swedish is a plus • Knowledge of Lean manufacturing tools, 8D, 5S, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, IATF 16949 • Excellent knowledge of Risk Management, Risk Identification and Risked Based approaches • Skilled in Business Process Management • Ability to work under high pressure and right deadlines, excellent time management • Ability to work well with others in a team environment, as well as independently • Ability to work in a high profile and international environment • Experience in automotive industry Personal success factors • Strongly goal oriented, curious and eager to learn. • Has “can do” attitude and an entrepreneurial spirit • Strong communication skills with all the key stakeholders to ensure Quality Management System is understood and implemented correctly • Proactive, strong-minded, quick thinker and assertive • Passionate and purpose driven • Has a can-do attitude and an entrepreneurial spirit
