Job Description

We are looking for dedicated and self-driven QC Shift Manager to join us in our mission to contribute to build the world’s greenest battery. The role is a part of our passionate Revolt Ett team based in Skellefteå.

About the job QC Shift Manager leads QC shift team. Coordinates laboratory activities with other teams to ensure that requested analyses are performed in an effective and reliable way. Understand analytical priorities and work together with the team to deliver results of analyses on time. Support sample preparation, analysis and reporting. Works with raw material qualification, inventory management. If necessary, participate in process investigations and failure analysis activities. About the team The QC team is a group of experts, having experience in samples preparation, measurement methods, and result reporting. Your team will play an important role in supporting the production team in improving our products quality. QC team will be also developing, validating, defining, and implementing the inspection methods for all tested materials. Furthermore, the team will be responsible for Measurement System Analysis and work with the R&D group to evaluate and compare product quality (it includes participation in Root Cause Analysis).

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Lead QC shift team in different shift patterns • Prioritize QC activities according to guidelines • Release/block incoming material on the basis of tests results • Support QC technicians in their daily routines and skills development • Perform necessary trainings for QC staff • Run special tests on a range of instruments and report results in LIMS • Troubleshoot the problems related to analytical equipment as well as measuring methods • Support LIMS updates and problem solving • Work across many parts of the organization, collaborating with other QC departments within organisation, Process and Production Teams, Supply Chain, IT

Skills & Requirements

We believe that you have :

• Leadership skills • MSc/BSc degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering or Natural Sciences • Minimum 4+ years of team lead experience in industrial Quality and/or in a R&D environment • 2 + years of experience in laboratory work.

Experience in metal content analyses using ICP-OES/ICP-MS/XRF is a plus.

• Knowledge about safety routines in the laboratory • Experience with process control plan (PCP) and knowledge of quality management systems, e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949 is a plus • Highly organised, results driven and an eye for details • Proactive and goes beyond expectations • Eager to learn and able to acquire new information very quickly • Excellent English written and oral skills, Swedish is a plus
