Job Description

Northvolt has an exciting job offer for a Project Logistics Developer to join our passionate team in Skellefteå.

The Project Logistics Developer's primary focus will be on planning, developing and executing logistics solutions for heavy process equipment during the construction phase of Northvolt Ett in Skellefteå.

Project Logistics Developer will be the key link between Northvolt's equipment suppliers, appointed Industrial Projects LSPs, logistical infrastructure partners and the Northvolt Site Logistics Teams.

We:

In broad terms, Project Logistics is responsible to secure end to end logistical solutions for process equipment, from vendor to installation with the highest focus on QHSSE, Schedule & Budget.

You:

Generally speaking, you have a high degree of experience within logistical operations, specifically in an industrial projects setting. You are absolutely excellent in multi-tasking and prioritizing. You understand the importance of structure and communication, especially across cultures and time zones, as means to ensure clarity and reach common goals within specific time frames. You have a good feel for people and you know how to, together with them, celebrate good times, as well as pull through dire straits.

The role will be based at Northvolt Ett in Skellefteå with regular travels to other facilities including Västerås, Stockholm and possibility to travel to Germany and Far East (China, Korea, Japan).

Together with the wider Northvolt Project Logistics Team you will:

• Responsible for larger work scopes and projects within the Project Logistics organisation • Represents project logistics internally as well as externally, collaborating with all necessary stakeholders • Investigates and applies new approaches, methods, techniques, and innovations to increase the success of the Project Logistics and wider logistics department • Runs smaller logistics procurement activities • Together with LSPs and Northvolt colleagues’ drafts and develop Work Instructions/procedures, QHSSE procedures as well as other standards and processes ensuring logistically optimal and safe operation • Ensure QHSSE development, implementation, measurement, analysis and optimisation and foster QHSSE culture,

Skills & Requirements

• Fluency in English • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Logistics or related field • Min. 3-5 years of experience in relevant field • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, experience in handling databases and ERPs • Valuable (but not required) if fluency in other languages, including Swedish • Drivers license B is valuable (but not required) • Communicative personality • Highly organized and result driven • Focused on delivering solutions to stakeholders • Service-minded and determined to create a great candidate experience • Has a can do-attitude and an entrepreneurial spirit • Analytic ability to find improvements and see patterns based on limited data
