Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Software Engineering Manager to join us in our mission to contribute to a greener future. The role is a part of our excellent Software team based in Stockholm. By joining us, you will be a key player in the development of battery systems to the grid, industrial and automotive market.

About the job As an Engineering Manager in our Embedded Software Engineering Department, you will play a crucial role in leading and managing a team of software development or test engineers. Your primary focus will be on overseeing the development of embedded software solutions for our products, ensuring adherence to coding standards, safety regulations, and project deadlines.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Lead and manage a team of software engineers, including performance reviews, goal setting, and salary reviews. You will provide technical guidance and support to team members, fostering their professional growth and development.

  • Oversee the design, development, and testing of embedded software solutions, ensuring high quality and reliability.

  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the team.

Skills & Requirements

We believe that you have...

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team to achieve common goals.

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in embedded software development.
  • Proficiency in C coding, preferably with knowledge of MISRA C guidelines.
  • Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS) and bare-metal programming.
  • Familiarity with debuggers such as Lauterbach and Segger.
  • Knowledge of schematics and hardware-software integration.
  • Understanding of safety coding standards and regulations (e.g., ISO13849, ISO26262).
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams and familiarity with Agile methodologies
  • Previous experience with formal requirements management tools like Polarion is preferred
