We are overall responsible for all Procurement activities within Vestas Wind System A/S, the global leader in the Wind Industry, including Strategy development and implementation, Value creation initiatives, negotiations, Supplier Relationship Management and Supplier Account Management. Our Procurement organization consist of app. 600 dedicated employees spread out across the globe, with app. 120 employees located in the headquarter in Aarhus, Denmark.

You will be an important part of the IT Procurement team, which is responsible for Vestas' global procurement of digital products supporting the digitalization journey for Vestas. You will report to the Senior Manager for Global IT Procurement, playing a key role in setting the direction for the area and ensuring that Vestas has the best agreements and solutions for powering the solutions to shape a greener future.

 Responsibilities

• Lead and develop partnerships with strategic software suppliers
• Collaborate on global Software strategy to maximize value from agreements
• Foster world-class supplier collaboration and effective category structures 
• Represent the Global IT Procurement team and act as an ambassador
• Lead global software negotiations, set direction, and plan execution
• Single point of contact for specific product areas
• Continue to build an environment of enthusiasm, speed, solid results, smile and fun! 

Qualifications

• Background in IT procurement with experience negotiating software contracts and how to unlock most benefits to Vestas, while understanding the complexities of such contracts with respect to commercial and legal risks
• You have experience with category management, including guiding cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and large complex suppliers 
• Good theoretical background within Procurement, Finance, Supply chain or IT
• Great negotiator who lives for delivering the expected savings, solutions and does not take no for an answer

• You have strong collaboration skills and see a value in working together across the organization to achieve your results
