For our Operational Excellence department in Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy, we are looking for an analytical and innovative Lean Specialist to join our team in Brande office. We are looking for a lean specialist, who can drive and support all Lean activities in the area of responsibility, as well as deploy Lean standards and respective documentation.

How to contribute to our vision 

As a Lean specialist you will focus on production trimming, value-creating processes and improvement of existing routines and procedures.

Your responsibilities will be:

  • Drives and supports all Lean activities in the defined area of responsibility.
  • Deploys standards and description of methods and processes, and develops respective documentation. Analyzes processes or disruptions, identifies weak points, develops solutions and supports implementation.
  • Evaluates costs / benefits of the project and controls measure implementation.
  • Prepares, distributes and trains subject and method knowledge, and shares about best practices.
  • Participates in work groups / projects, and moderates meetings, workshops.
  • Completes coaching programs for implementing change processes and activities effectively.
  • Realizes subject knowledge in the calculation of investment decisions resp. implementation plans.

What you need to make a difference 

Besides a passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change, we are also looking for: 

A motivating team player, who is resilient, responsible, and structured with excellent communication skills. You interact with stakeholders high and low in the organization as well as external stakeholders. You are motivated by providing quality results within the deadlines and are happy to work in a dynamic organization and environment.

Furthermore, you are a structured team player with high communication skills, who thrives by securing that goals are met according to the schedule and strategy. You have a “hands-on and do-it-now” personality and like to work with production crews as well as support functions.

You hold a degree in Engineering or equivalent. In order to be eligible for this position, you hold a proven track record on successful Lean implementation including change management experience and project management experience. Additionally, your skill set includes facilitation of process mapping and process improvement design. We are looking for candidates with experience with engineering, manufacturing and supply chain processes.

It is a big advantage if you thrive in a multi-cultural environment and are familiar with working in large organizations. A high level of English and Danish is required both written and oral due to the nature of the position, where daily interactions with internal stakeholders is a part of the position.
