Engineering support to Sales and Project related to onshore wind turbine- design, manufacturing and construction.

Lead local engineering team and support Sales/Customers during project lifecycle. 2.     Identify local requirement of onshore wind turbine in Japan and facilitate discussion with Japanese authority or utilities. 3.     Build-up/improve TPM infrastructure- platform, documentation, process, tool and methods. 4.     Drive new product, new design concept and new supplier implementation in Japanese market. 5.     Drive local approval of design methodology based on international practice (e.g seismic calculation method). 6.     Represent APAC Regional Engineering to participate technical liaison meeting. 7.     Support for Technical seminar or meetings in related to Wind turbine structural and civil design. 8.     Facilitate discussion with design firm eg. external Japanese design house in relation to the tower Minister Recognition Process 9.     Facilitate discussion with certification agencies e.g ClassNK in relation to project certification process. 10.  Facilitate discussion with METI during construction permitting process.  

Qualification required:

1.     Bachelor or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Structural engineering or Civil engineering or similar; 2.     8-10 years’ experience in engineering, design, R&D, or project management within manufacturing industry, plant engineering industry, or engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) field 3.     Experience in wind power industry is preferred. 4.     Experience with wind turbine design (e.g loads calculation, tower design etc) is a plus; 5.     Experience with certification agencies (DNV-GL, ClassNK ) is a plus 6.     Good project management skills Profess. Knowledge. -Fluent English in writing and speaking; Team work spirit. Collaboration with local and international teams. -Initiative; Learning -Business competence; Communication Skills -Team player; Analytics -Result and quality orientation
