Our Wind Turbine Blade Manufacturing Facility in Hull is advertising for Warehouse Operatives to work within our Pre-Production Team.  

Do you want to be part of the foundation that supports production of our wind turbine blades? We’re looking for new faces in our new larger warehouse, which involves taking delivery of materials and moving them to appropriate storage to where they are needed just in time. While experience with forklift operation and goods-in processing is beneficial, it’s not essential, as we'll provide all the necessary training and certifications.

Areas of Responsibility:  

  • Working alongside and complying with all EHS processes and procedures. 
  • Possess excellent organizational skills and the ability to use the correct materials, tools, and equipment. 
  • Plan and lay out work, following strict engineering specifications and quality standards. 
  • Check and monitor work constantly ensuring very high levels of attention to detail. 
  • Must be able to follow instructions exactly as instructed and not implement process improvements without following the correct procedure. 
  • Competent use of WMS system (SAP) ensuring inventory accuracy whilst executing all WH and pre-production relevant tasks including goods issuing, picking and cycle counting. 
  • Ability and experience to operate equipment to process and deliver materials for internal customers to required standards. 
  • Competent operation and maintenance of MHE equipment. 
  • Have the foresight to identify improvements in relation to SQPD and drive to initiate and support to ensure the required outcome. 

Knowledge & Skills:  

  • This role will require a mix of Warehouse and manufacturing experience 
  • Understanding of 5S and lean manufacturing  
  • Knowledge and experience on SAP and or other WMS systems  
  • Competent on Microsoft IT applications 
  • Understanding requirements of internal customers and completing work to highest possible standards 
  • Have the ability to excel working individually and as part of a team 
  • Aim to put forward and support implementation of ideas for continuous improvement 
  • Ability to work a shift pattern that includes working days, nights, and weekends
