Position Overview

  • Supports Offshore Construction projects and plans/coordinates logistics activities in projects, in order to contribute to the success of the project by accurate and on-schedule supply.

  • As a Project Order Manager, you play a vital role in the execution of our offshore wind farm projects. You work as an integrated member of each project’s Construction Management team – while referring to the line organization of the Site Logistics team.

  • You support Offshore Construction projects and plans/coordinate logistics activities in projects, in order to contribute to the success of the project by accurate and on-schedule supply. You will have a broad interface with internal stakeholders & external suppliers. 

  • Relocation will not be offered for this role.

Responsibilities

  • As a Project Order Manager, you play a vital role in the execution of our offshore wind farm projects. You work as an integrated member of each project’s Construction Management team – while referring to the line organization of the Site Logistics team.

  • You support Offshore Construction projects and plans/coordinate logistics activities in projects, in order to contribute to the success of the project by accurate and on-schedule supply. You will have a broad interface with internal stakeholders & external suppliers. 

  • Managing the definition and delivery of the tools package for the Wind Turbine Projects = one point of contact from the Project towards the supplier 

  • Managing the ordering and delivery of spare parts, planned and unplanned 

  • Managing the return from the site for all tools and spare parts to ensure efficient utilization of all parts 

  • Managing full transparency on scope, including all risks 

  • Analyzes operational logistic status, informs involved stakeholders adequately - and derives and implements alternative measures to adapt to changing situations.

  • Maintains, updates and communicates relevant information (regarding master data, delivery schedules, stock-and-order status and contract information) from suppliers, procurement, and logistic service providers.

  • Coordinates return of logistic infrastructure and on-site equipment used, in support of Project Logistics Management, and steers respective logistics operations with service providers.

Required Knowledge, Education, Experience and Skills

  • A motivating team player, who is resilient, responsible, and structured with excellent communication skills. You interact with stakeholders high and low in the organization as well as external stakeholders. You are motivated by providing quality results within the deadlines and are happy to work in a dynamic organization and environment.

  • The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant subject with 2-3+ years of experience in a similar role and/or has 3+ years of professional experience from a project logistics environment or Supply Chain, combined with an ability to understand technical topics. Knowledge of renewable energy business and OF project execution preferred. 

  • You are as a person curious and want to learn and contribute in the organization, as well as you are good at managing different stakeholders. You know how to plan and prioritize the given tasks within the project. Furthermore, it is essential that you master IT skills within SAP, Analysis for Office and Excel. 

  • Moreover, you are a dedicated team player, self-driven with a responsible and result-oriented approach to your work and when doing this, you understand how to act with respect and build trust. You bring a structured mindset, enabling you to address several diverse tasks daily – while “keeping the full overview” all along a project duration.

  • It is a big advantage if you thrive in a multi-cultural environment and are familiar with working in large organizations. It is therefore important that you have excellent English language skills, both written and spoken. You are eager to join a global business with a tremendous growth rate and word-wide footprint expansion.
