Plant Technical Support NCE is a dynamic sub-department of Technical Support NCE. We support the service business across Northern and Central Europe with technical knowledge and act as a link between engineering and local business units.

As part of Plant Technical Support NCE, you will be integrated into an experienced and dedicated team. We lead the implementation of the Vestas strategy, support the service organizations and local business units with technical knowledge, ensuring customer focus and safety.

Responsibilities

  • Leading a team of 10 people with a focus on server and data tasks
  • Providing technical support and planning work for idle wind farms
  • Developing the team to meet the demands of a constantly changing and growing business
  • Ensuring and delivering products and services to meet customer expectations

Your Detailed Tasks

  • Supervising 10 people under your leadership with a focus on process development
  • Acting as a role model to ensure the key criteria and KPIs of the team
  • Acting as a deputy for the Manager, Plant Technical Support NCE, when needed
  • Participating in the development of the strategy for technical support and implementing the defined strategy
  • Optimizing the processes used within the team with a strong focus on “first-time fix”
  • Effectively tracking the performance of turbine sites, identifying countermeasures, and initiating corrective actions if necessary
  • Providing timely responses and support to the service organizations
  • Reviewing and distributing requests in ticketing, ERP systems, and via email

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience, preferably in the wind industry, ideally with experience in leading a team (not mandatory)
  • Any form of leadership experience (at least technical), where you have shown that you have developed skills and provided support
  • Experience in change management and process improvement
  • Technical knowledge of SCADA solutions
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Experience using Microsoft Office programs
  • Experience with SAP or Salesforce is an advantage
  • Solid communication skills in both verbal and written form in English and German are mandatory

Additional Information

The primary workplace can be in Hamburg, Husum, Berlin, or Rheine in Germany, Vienna in Austria, Szczecin in Poland, or Budapest in Hungary.
