Service Director Denmark and Norway

Do you want to work in a progressive environment within renewable energy where solutions are critical to our processes?   EVP NCE > SBU NCE Service > Onshore North & West In Service Onshore North-West, we hold full accountability for delivering on all service contracts in our region. Region North-West consists of Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, the UK, and Ireland. We ensure a qualified customer experience by focusing on best-in-class execution, advanced utilisation of our teams and resources, digital solutions, and long-term contractual commitments.   Responsibilities

  • Ensure safety and quality foundations are key
  • Develop the vision, direction, and goals for Service Operations in DK/NO
  • Hold full accountability for P&L in DK/NO
  • Develop leaders across their own, ensure leaders are continuing to elevate and think beyond their area of responsibility
  • Develop, align, and implement programs and initiatives to promote effective business unit strategies through best practices activities and solutions
  • Simplify and standardize internal processes, utilize innovation and automation to drive scalability and efficiencies
  • Prioritize objectives and implement strategies to achieve company initiatives as part of the leadership team

  Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business administration with relevant knowledge in Engineering
  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in a global organization
  • Ability to develop, plan, and implement strategic short- and long-range goals
  • Effective team leadership skills with the ability to facilitate a cooperative work environment, motivate, coach, and coordinate employee development and performance
  • Business and financial acumen, including experience managing a P&L
  • Proven experience in building customer relationship

  Competencies 

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of business units in a global organization
  • Ability to navigate successfully in a growing and demanding work environment, prioritizing among competing urgent matters and allocating resources for maximum impact 
  • Cross-functional management skills in a global and matrix organization
  • Ability to engage and influence multiple stakeholders, including senior executives from various functions
  • Ability to handle multiple short and long-term priorities
