The Service Technician position is part of Siemens Gamesa’s Serbian team, working at the Malibunar and Alibunar wind farms. Siemens Gamesa in Serbia is part of an international organization consisting of more teams working at wind farms in the Banat region, with support from back offices in Belgrade and other European countries.

How to contribute to our vision

As Service Technician you will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining wind turbines according to preventive maintenance schedules, procedures and checklists and monitoring wind turbine systems.
  • Maintaining electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems
  • Monitoring of errors, performing corrective maintenance as per instructions and providing technical support
  • Working according to EHS regulations
  • Keeping records, documentation, and reporting in accordance with company regulations

What you need to make a difference

Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change. We are also looking for a new colleague who is a team player, who is conscientious and who takes self-initiative in you work.

You have a technical high school diploma; preferably in the mechanical or electrical field, and you have knowledge of English language, and proficiency in IT (Office 365, online apps).

You are willing to travel and have a category B driver’s license.

In addition, you are prepared to work in a challenging working environment (work at heights, with high voltage, and high and low temperatures).
