About the team

  • Vibration Diagnostics is responsible for the software applications needed to monitor the Siemens Gamesa turbine fleet. This ranges from data collection to diagnostics models and user front-end for handling warnings.
  • Vibration Diagnostics development consist of more than 20 developers and is divided in three agile teams that are part of the Diagnostics Agile Release Train following the SAFe methodology.
  • We have adapted a hybrid working environment where we are in the office 3 days per week for important meetings and collaboration around whiteboards and the rest of time, we collaborate remote using MS teams.

Role Brief and Responsibilities –

As Cloud Data engineer in the Vibration Diagnostic Development, you will have a great opportunity to work with the newest technologies within Azure cloud and learn from skilled developers and experts already in the team. Depending on skills and/or interests, tasks could cover development in Python, C# or React related to UI component development, Azure development, API development, logging dashboards, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as code, database setup etc. The Vibration Diagnostics team is a part of Service department, and you will be working in an international team of employees in Denmark, Spain, Germany, USA and India

Experience in working with:

  • Object oriented analysis and design 
  • Visual Studio, C#, .NET and .NET Core 
  • Unit testing and behavior driven development. 
  • Knowledge of the following will be an advantage: 
  • Azure web apps, AKS, Service bus messaging, Event hub
  • Client/server system
  • Docker/Kubernetes 
  • REST API(JSON) 
  • SQL 
  • Cyber-security 
  • CI/CD
  • Best practices of code quality and cybersecurity
  • Efficient and optimized system architecture
  • Knowledge on front end API's and applications using REACT.
  • You are results-oriented and detailed-oriented with focus on quality. 
  • You are motivating, have good collaborative and communication skills, and you can commit yourself in an international and informal environment. 
  • You feel comfortable finding creative solutions to complicated problems and are passionate about developing high-quality, testable and efficient software. 
  • Good English skills 

Qualification and Preferences: 

  • Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s /Master’s degree (Any Graduate)
  • Overall work experience: 3 to 7 years
  • Any industry

Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s/master’s degree in related field or equivalent professional experience. An extensive knowledge and working experience on both relational and non-relational databases. A good team player with a positive attitude who value transparency.

Most importantly, you challenge yourself and your colleagues to achieve the best results. You have a high professional competency, and you have a desire to develop your skills. You have good collaboration skills, and you can manage to act in different cultural contexts. To thrive in this position, you must have a strong result- and customer-oriented approach.
