AME Onshore Service Contractual Sales

Role Overview:

Vestas seeks a highly motivated Service Contracts Sales Specialist to become an integral part of our team. In this key position, you will be responsible for developing and closing new and renewal service contracts for wind turbines across Vestas Americas. Your focus will be on leveraging our market-leading service offerings to address customer needs, promote sales growth, and contribute to our mission of advancing renewable energy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales and Market Development: Develop new and renewal service contract sales opportunities within your assigned region and market segments. Promote and apply our innovative service offerings to address diverse customer requirements.
  • Customer Engagement: Build and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders. Engage with customers to understand their needs, navigate complex conversations, and present tailored solutions.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and support. Collaborate on new turbine sales and manage the P&L for existing service contracts.
  • Strategic Reporting: Track and report on key performance indicators, including firm order intake, contribution margin, and term length of service contracts. Contribute to the overall sales strategy and business goals.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business/Commerce, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a sales role related to the renewables sector or a similar field, with a documented history of securing and managing service contracts.
  • Skills: Adept at sales techniques and skilled in navigating multifaceted interactions. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Salesforce. Proficient in articulating and documenting complex concepts in a way that is understandable to all, across various communication platforms.
  • Competencies: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and adapt to changing conditions. Skilled at establishing rapport with a diverse range of stakeholders.
