Responsibility

• Overall responsible for APAC PTR and scoped products supplier quality, delivery, technical capability and sustainability performance.
• Overall responsible for SQ&D APAC NPI project alignment and development.
• Fully support and influence the Supply Chain Strategy within PTR especially on Bearing.
• Support supplier development and qualification including supplier assessment and certifications
• Quality Assurance on PTR Level (high BoM Assembling) supplier new product introduction following APQP/PPAP activities.
• Securing suppliers day to day process/product compliance with Vestas quality levels.
• Securing responsible products are delivered to meet customer requirements on Quality, delivery and Safety.
• Support program reviews with key Tier-2 suppliers to ensure support of long-term business plans.
• Communicate supplier performance to senior management as well stakeholders.
• Support key Quality initiatives and fulfil KPIs on SQ&D Function.
• Support global cross-functional teams to develop strategies for obtaining first time quality throughout the supply chain of PTR.

Qualifications

• 10+ years' industry experience in the electrical production environment with at least 5 years in a supplier quality engineering role• Relevant experience in introducing a product from development, through production to operations
• Will be required to travel 50% of time and to remote sites
• Certified ISO 9001 lead assessor. Working knowledge about ISO 14001 & ISO 45001.
• Familiar with APQP, PPAP, VDA audit etc.
• Six Sigma Green, Black Belt, or comparable certification, Master black Belt as preferred
• Strong continues quality improvement skill and lean expertise

• Professional in Presentation & Communication skills in English environment
• A history of effectively integrating Lean manufacturing and supply chain strategies within supplier operations and owned manufacturing centers
