How to contribute to our vision

  • To maintain the undisturbed supply of materials,
  • To plan in terms of quantity and on time, to escalate the delivery on time and on quantity in critical situations.
  • Use of relevant IT systems (e.g. SAP, QSYS, TeamCenter, MRP Exceptions, etc.)
  • Active management of suppliers including performance tracking
  • Creation of purchase orders and tracking with suppliers
  • Creation of scheduling agreements and coordination with suppliers. If necessary, develop scheduling agreements with suppliers to ensure material availability
  • Tracking of orders and obtaining confirmations. Checking these for correctness and completeness
  • Maintenance of relevant fields in the material master (e.g. MRP 1 - 4) and other relevant master data (e.g. source lists)
  • Introduction of existing "special" procurement strategies (e.g. Kanban)
  • Planning and disposition of materials according to predefined targets; e.g. stock value, logistics capacities, etc.
  • Participation in regular or unscheduled meetings with the strategic purchasing functions and other relevant commodity functions (e.g. supplier quality, engineering, other plants, etc.) to discuss and actively coordinate relevant issues regarding material availability and supplier performance
  • Independent working to achieve given goals, measurable through KPIs
  • Creation, processing and organization of NC (Non Conformance) orders (e.g. spare parts, return deliveries, repair orders) including tracking of SGRE property at the supplier to avoid "obsolete stocks”
