We are looking for aTeam Lead Transport Equipment & Returnto join our global Offshore Execution Equipment Management (EQM) team, to elevate the transport equipment (TEQ) and return flow management to the next level.

The OF EXE EQM team is responsible for on time, on quality and on budget delivery of tools, transport and installation equipment to our global offshore execution project portfolio, internal blade and nacelle factories and our tower vendors.

How to contribute to our vision

As the Team Lead Transport Equipment & Return you will be leading a team of highly motivated TEQ Demand and Equipment Return Flow Managers. You will be the core interface to our COG organization, owning on-time delivery of all required transport equipment to Nacelle / Blade factories and external Tower suppliers. In addition to that you lead the pro-active return flow management, ensuring return of components from offshore execution projects in line with portfolio requirements.

More specifically your key tasks will include – but are not limited – to:

  • Shape & develop the Transport Equipment and Equipment Return Flow Team, by setting the direction both in terms of operational management and strategic development / process improvements.
  • Ensure on-time delivery of required TEQ to factories and external vendors, enabling undisrupted production.
  • Own the optimization of the TEQ delivery process to SGRE Offshore factories and external tower suppliers.
  • Lead implementation of pro-active return flow management of tools & equipment and transport equipment from our offshore execution projects and service.
  • Actively manage the core stakeholders, i.e., across the offshore factories and all relevant central COG interfaces.
  • Drive development of both, the highly motivated members of the Transport Equipment & Return individually and the team overarchingly.

What you need to make a difference

Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change.

  • You hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in management, supply chain management, logistics or any similar field.
  • Leadership skills, either displayed by first line management exposure or in managing cross-functional project teams.
  • You are at ease with pro-actively navigating a complex stakeholder environment and building a sustainable network.
  • Previous experience in the wind power industry and a profound understanding of the TEQ and return flow process is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical and conceptual skills.
  • Pro-activeness, drive, and persistence.
  • The ability to communicate confidently in English across all levels of the organization including senior/executive management.
  • In addition, you are a dedicated team player, driven to create the future and committed to delivering as one.
