For our global Blades Process Engineering department we are currently looking for a committed and motivated Team Lead for our Packing team. You will be leading a global team of Process engineers, working on developing new and optimizing existing processes within blades manufacturing in general and composite casting technologies specifically.

How to contribute to our vision

In this role you will have the opportunity to Lead a team of highly skilled and diverse employees and contribute to the Packing. You will actively develop your team and ensure that the right competencies and skills are available both now and in the future. This will involve coaching, sparring, recruiting, one-to-one dialogues, FLOW (MUS), continuous feedback etc. In addition, you will be doing competence mapping and creating development plans for each individual team member and the team as a whole. On a broader scale you will develop strategies, methods, processes, tools and plans for future packing technologies and have the strategic overview for process and tooling development and your packing technology roadmap.

  • Leads, develops and motivates a group of dedicated qualified employees and professionals functionally to achieve the targets set.
  • Ensures adherence to defined guidelines, processes and procedures, for the Engineering Team assigned.
  • Coordinates Engineering activities performed by a team of professionals and technicians and controls execution according to the organizational guidelines.
  • Provides suitable work environment and implements people management processes.
  • May lead a group of dedicated qualified employees and professionals also disciplinary.
  • May plan and allocate resources and budgets to Engineering projects or activities.

What you need to make a difference

We imagine that you hold a degree in mechanical engineering, composite engineering, chemical engineering material sciences or similar. It is important that you have a proven track record in successful people management. To succeed in the role, you will need:

  • Experience working with equipment design and/or composite materials and/or material sciences. In short, a relevant background preferably within the industry
  • A structured approach to your work and the ability to handle simultaneous assignments without losing the overview
  • To thrive in a dynamic and international environment and have excellent cooperation and communication skills
  • Excellent English skills both orally and in writing
  • In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated.
