Join our innovative HSE team at Plant Aalborg, where we produce cutting-edge blades for wind turbines and develop pioneering concepts for future production. We're committed to environmental sustainability and seek a dedicated HSE Specialist to help us achieve our vision.

Role Overview: As an HSE Specialist with a focus on technical environmental management, you will ensure our facility comply with all relevant environmental legislation. You will play a crucial role in maintaining our environmental permits, conducting emission calculations, and coordinating external noise measurements.

This position offers a unique opportunity to work on-site at Plant Aalborg and collaborate with many internal and external stakeholders.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Regulatory Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with Danish environmental legislation
• Maintain and update environmental permits
• Prepare and submit reports to authorities and internal stakeholders

Service Directive:

• Implement new requirements related to compliance with the Seveso directive
• Assist in the management of the safety system of the plant
• Participate in environmental risk assessments and optimization of procedures

Environmental Management:

• Perform VOC-emission calculations
• Coordinate external noise measurement analysis
• Manage relationships with external consultants as needed

ISO 14001 Implementation:

• Create and update internal system document (according to ISO 14001)
• Perform self-assessments and generate ad hoc reports

Stakeholder Engagement:

• Communicate and collaborate with the local municipality and production stakeholders
• Provide training on environmental and sustainability practices
• Support production teams in selecting environmentally conscious solutions

Collaboration:

• Work closely with colleagues in the HSE team and other departments
• Engage with environmental experts from our other factories
• Build and maintain a network with colleagues at our facilities abroad

What you need to make a difference 

Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change.

Education & Experience:

• Relevant educational background in technical environmental management
• Some years of practical experience in a similar role

Skills:

• Strong reporting and organizational skills with attention to detail
• In-depth knowledge of Danish environmental regulations
• Familiarity with ISO 14000 and other relevant standards
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Personal Attributes:

• Fluency in Danish and excellent English skills, both written and oral
• Passionate about renewable energy and environmental sustainability
• Motivated by technical challenges and regulatory compliance
• Collaborative mindset with strong communication skills
