For our Operational Excellence department in Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy, we are looking for an analytical and innovative Lean Specialist.

  

How to contribute to our vision

As a Lean Specialist you will support one area of the production, where you consult and support the responsible production manager – with a focus on achieving operational excellence, improve existing routines and procedures.

More specifically, your assignments will cover:

  • Shopfloor Management structure and KPI setting,
  • Production stabilization projects,
  • Identify future challenges based on scenarios and present recommendations,
  • Kaizen events and other workshops to optimize and reduce processes, lead time etc.

We are looking for a Lean Specialist, who can drive and support all lean activities in the area of responsibility, as well as being a sparring partner and share best practice within the Lean Team.

In addition, the Lean Specialist will propose new lean projects, and evaluate cost/benefit and oversees its implementation. 

What you need to make a difference

Besides a passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change, we are also looking for: 

A structured team player with high communication skills, who thrives by securing that goals are met according to the plan and strategy. You have a “hands-on and do-it-now” personality and like to work with production crews as well as support functions.

You hold a master’s degree in engineering or equivalent. In order to be eligible for this position, you hold a proven track record on successful Lean implementation including change management experience and project management experience. Additionally, your skill set includes facilitation of process mapping and process improvement design. Experience with engineering, manufacturing and supply chain processes will be seen as a prerequisite.

You possess the ability to work independently as well as in teams and you are good at collaborating with stakeholders at different areas of the organization.

A high level of English and Danish is required both written and oral due to the nature of the position, where daily interactions with internal stakeholders is a part of the position.
