The LATAM Transport department is looking for Transport Professional to ensure components are delivered ensuring Safe, timely and cost-effective as planned and in compliance with Customs and Tax regulations where Vestas operates, overseeing and managing materials and equipment within LATAM. The general purpose is to oversee and coordinate general cargo procedures of wind turbines and their components within wind sites and factories in countries in LATAM.

Responsibilities:

Coordinate Outbound Transport activities on all deliveries attending project demands ensuring shipments are properly safety, on track and reported

Ensure that all LSP are instructed and following safety procedures in all operations

Provide guidance, assistance and advice to the internal clients in support of their operations

Proactively approach with stakeholders to attend and ensure safety, customs, tax, finance, account and systems compliance process

Close cooperation in the transport team improving the operation in the region and meet the KPIs from transport department

Supplier Performance Management of service providers

Coordinate and control payments of LSP

Investigate and support problem-solving of delivery and transport quality issues, monitor and report transport risks, supporting team to recover NCR/Claim costs disputes

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree;
• 3-5 years of experience in a similar position focused on Logistic/Transport
• Comprehensive knowledge of logistics operations and practices, in-depth knowledge and hands-on Transport set-up in LATAM countries
• Solid stakeholder management skills
• Significant financial experience in transport cost controlling and execution, cost analysis, and business performance management
• Solid systems skills including MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), favorably including hands-on experience in Power BI and SAP BI.
• Attention to detail and build smart well-organized spreadsheets
