Global Health, Safety & Environment > HSE APAC 

Responsibilities

  • Develop APAC alignment to Global HSE Strategy through Regional tactical plan ensuring it reflects the Global and egional Risk profile Risk profile while staying aligned to Global tactical direction
  • Ensure all operations accross all countries understand their legal obligations and have appropriate systems and processes (Global or APAC) to ensure they are compliant to Vestas and legal requirements
  • Support Functional HSE Leads to ensure the HSE MS is consistently implemented across all operational sites
  • Review HSE data for the purposes of identifying both current and emerging risks and collaborate with APAC Leadership to implement both reactive and proactive controls as may be required
  • Support and act as a Critical coach to all of APAC HSE leaders ensuring they understand their HSE responsibilities and how to effectively discharge these
  • Support operations to achieve Safety and environmental standards and ensure there is a culture of HSE operational continuous improvement within their teams
  • Advocate and ensure alignment within their operational Function to the APAC HSE Tactical Plan and Strategic Direction
  • Execute APAC and Global Tactical initiatives ensuring they are embedded within the Region
  • Ensure incident investigations and associated RCA are completed and lessons learnt are shared across all sites and appropriate outcomes/mitigations are embedded
  • Execute and support appropriate assurance processes and audits per the APAC Assurance

Qualifications

  • Degree in science, engineering health and Safety or similar
  • Minimum 10+ years experience in health and Safety at leadership level

Competencies

  • Experience in working with and part of a Senior leadership
  • Proven experience in handling geographically dispersed teams
  • Experience in working as part of a geographically (Global) HSE leadership team
  • Must have proven experience in practive HSE risk management approaches to safety
  • Strong analytical and process orientations
