Facility Maintenance Technician (Goleniów)

The Facility Maintenance team at Vestas ensures the smooth operation and technical reliability of all infrastructure systems supporting blade production. As the factory expands, the department plays a key role in maintaining and modernizing equipment, utilities, and building systems. It’s a dynamic environment where technical expertise, initiative, and collaboration are highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular inspections and maintenance of HVAC, electrical, water, heating, and other facility systems
• Ensure operational readiness of infrastructure and building equipment
• Initiate modernization projects and oversee machine operation manuals
• Analyze failure data using AXAPTA (EAM module)
• Support service coordination and technical documentation updates
• Collaborate with internal departments and external service providers

Requirements

• Technical or vocational education in mechanics, electrics, automation, or industrial machinery
• Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably international
• Valid SEP certifications (Group I required; Group II/III and >1kV preferred)
• Ability to read technical documentation and operate basic computer systems
• Willingness to work at heights above 3 meters and in a shift system
• Communicative English or German language 

Competencies

• Initiative and independence in technical problem-solving
• Basic knowledge of low-voltage electrical systems
• Ability to coordinate service inspections and preventive actions
• Familiarity with BMS systems and infrastructure reporting
• Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
