Analyst, Master Data

The Procurement Master Data Management Team at Vestas is focused on ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and consistency of procurement master data across the organization. This team is responsible for supporting various business functions, including procurement, finance, and operations, by implementing and maintaining robust data governance frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Data Management: Implement the creation, maintenance, and continuous governance of procurement master data (e.g. purchase info records, quota arrangement, spend class)
• Subject Matter Expertise: Act as the procurement master data subject matter expert, ensuring efficiency in data management processes
• Continuous Improvement: Conduct and implement continuous process improvement, including implementation of MDM-related projects and strategic initiatives
• Data Governance: Oversee and manage initiatives to ensure high data quality, transparency, and integrity
• Stakeholder Management: Coordinate cross-functional collaboration and decision-making to address MD-related issues and coordinate MD transformation initiatives
• Industry Best Practices: Stay current on industry best practices and data management trends

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of business, IT, or engineering course
• Experience: 4-7 years of relevant work experience in Master Data (e.g., Purchase Info Records, Outline Agreement, Source List, Quota Arrangement, Spend Class)
• Data Governance: Solid understanding of data governance principles and best practices
• Technical Skills: Experience with data quality tools and methodologies, advanced knowledge of MS Excel, and SAP experience
• Communication: Effective communication and collaboration skills
• Cognitive Skills: Solid reasoning and problem-solving skills with great attention to detail

Capabilities

• High proficiency in SAP master data, particularly in Purchase Info Records and Spend Class
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Effective stakeholder and client management skills
• Solid reasoning and problem-solving skills to address data-related issues
• Ability to work efficiently with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
• Able to respond to changing priorities and requirements with ease
• Customer service mindset with a motivated attitude
